Interdependence

Key Stage 1Understanding that what people, including themselves, do affects themselves, the places they live, other people, and plants and animals
Key Stage 2Grasping how the actions of individuals, inclusive of oneself, impact themselves, their surroundings, others, as well as flora and fauna.
Key Stage 3Recognising the interconnection of people, animals, and plants through natural cycles and ecological systems.
Key Stage 4Understanding the worldwide backdrop of trade, industry, and consumption behaviours, and acknowledging the pros and cons of scientific and technological advancements for individuals, communities, and environments concerning sustainable development.

Citizenship and stewardship

Key Stage 1Learning self-care, care for others, and the nurturing of their home, school, and local environments.
